November 2012: Scholarship Holder Meeting at Leuven

From the 9.th until the 11.th November took place the annual scholarship holder meeting in Leuven. Seventeen MWI-scholarship holders participated at the meeting of which one-half came from Asia and the other half came from African countries. As representatives of the MWI Dr. Annette Meuthrath, Dr. Marco Moerschbacher and the director of the institute, Dr. Harald Suermann, joined the meeting. Three of the scholarship holders presented their scientific work, of which later on discussions were held in smaller groups. The theses were multifarious. They ranged from the Prophetic Role of the Church at the Philippines over the Female Feticide in India until the Pastoral Counseling in Ethiopia. The discussions were very insistently and thus it was good that we also had the time to pray together and to socialize.

The next scholarship holder meeting will take place from the 8.th – 10.th November 2013 at Leuven.
