Former MWI scholarship holder is appointed Bishop

The MWI congratulates his former scholarship holder Julito B. Cortes for being elected Bishop of Dumaguete, Philippines. We all wish him the blessing of the Almighty and the courage to be in the service of his folk.

From 1985 until 1988, he has been studying moral theology at the Angelicum in Rome with the support of the MWI. Since October 2002, he has already been auxiliary of Cebu.
