Der vorliegende Band dokumentiert die vom Herausgeber im Auftrag des Missionswissenschaftlichen Instituts Missio e.V. durchgeführte Weltumfrage zur Situation der Theologie am Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts. An diesem Projekt haben über 70 international renommierte Theologen aus allen Kontinenten mitgewirkt. Ihre Antworten u.a. von Michael Amaladoss, Leonardo Boff, Christian Duquoc, Enrique Dussel, Virginia Fabella, Ivone Gebara, Pierre Gilbert, Gustavo Guiétrez, Hans Küng, Laurenti Magesa, Johann Baptist Metz, Jürgen Moltmann, Albert Nolan, Charles Perrot, Margaret Shanti, Jon Sobrino, Dorthee Sölle, Theo Sundermeier, Hans Waldenfels und Felix Wilfred liegen hier in deutsch, englisch, spanisch oder französisch vor. Die initiative der Weltumfrage versteht sich als Dienst am Dialog der Theologien und ihre jeweiligen kulturellen Kontexte, wobei sie zugleich eine neue Phase einleiten will: das Gespräch der Theologien soll zum Ort der Rekontextualisierung und damit auch der Internationalisierung der theologischen Arbeit werden! --------------------- As a result of the successful cooperation between the Institute of Missiology and its partners in the South, the idea was born to use this vast network of contacts to conduct a world-wide inquiry as to the situation of theology at the end of the 20th century. This book presents the contributions of more than 70 outstanding theologians (in English, French, German, Spanish) from all the continents: Michael Amaladoss, Leonardo Boff, Christian Duquoc, Enrique Dussel, Ivonne Gebara, Pierre Gibert, Gustavo Gutiérrez, Hans Küng, Laurenti Magesa, Jürgen Moltmann, Margaret Shanti, Jon Sobrino, Dorothee Sölle, Felix Wilfred... The initiative of this world-wide inquiry is to be understood as just one more opportunity to discuss theologies and their respective cultural contexts. At the same time, it also wants to open up a new phase in the dialogue, viz. a phase in which the discussion among theologies will evolve into a state where theological reflection is re-contextualised and thus also internationalised.
