Contributors:   

  • Dr. Joe Mannath, SDB is a Salesian who works presently as the associate professor at the Department of Christian Studies, University of Madras. He is also a visiting professor at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, and Fordham University, New York.
  • Fr. Victor Ferrao is a priest belonging to the Diocese of Goa. He is the Dean and Professor of Western philosophy at the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol, Goa. He is involved in a science-religion movement known as "Science and Religion Sangam" (SRS). He teaches also at the University of Goa. He is presently pursuing his Doctoral Studies at JDV, Pune, India.
  • Dr. George Panthanmackal, MSFS is a member of the Congregation of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales. He obtained his Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Currently he is the Secretary of the ACPI, and is teaching at Suvidya College, Electronic City, Bangalore. He has authored many books.
  • Dr. Stanislaus Swamikannu, SDB, belongs to the Salesian Congregation and is presently the Vice-Provincial of Chennai Province. He obtained his Doctorate from the University of Leuven. He is also visiting professor to several Institutes of Philosophy.
  • Dr. Johnson Puthenpurackal, OFMCap belongs to the Capuchin Vice-Province of Andhra-Orissa. At present he is teaching Philosophy at Vijnananilayam, Institute of Philosophy (Degree College), Eluru, A.P. He obtained his Doctorate from the Leuven University on Heidegger. Currently he is the President of the ACPI.
  • Fr. Joy Panamthanam, SVD is a member of the Society of the Divine Word. He holds two master degrees from the Universities of Pune and Leuven subsequently. He had been the Dean of Studies at Kristu Premalaya Bhopal. Currently he pursues his doctoral studies at the University of Bhopal on "Religion and Philosophy". 
  • Dr. Ashley Miranda is a Salesian of Don Bosco. He is at present Rector of Divyadaan, Higher Institute of Philosophy, Nashik. He has a vast teaching experience as a Professor of Philosophy. He holds a Ph.D. from the Salesian Pontifical University, Rome.
  • Dr. Vincent Gabriel Furtado, OFMCap has been Professor of Philosophy in many of the higher Institutes. He taught as a Lecturer at the Institute of Philosophy and Religion, Bangalore. He is associated with several Research Institutes as a member and guide. He holds his Ph.D. from the State University of Münster, Germany.
  • Dr. S. Lourdunathan is Reader and Head, Department of Philosophy, Arul Anandar (Autonomous) College, Karumathur, Madurai Dt, Tamilnadu. He completed his Doctorate on "Ambedkar and Dalit Liberation". He has served as Resource person to the departments of Philosophy of Central University, Pondicherry, Calicut University, and Tanjore University. He is a guide of several PhD Scholars in the areas of Ethics, Social Epistemology and Religion.
  • Dr. Varghese Manimala, OFM Cap. graduated from Karnatak University, Dharwad, and holds an M.A. in English Literature from Calicut University and a Ph.D. from the Madras University. He is a member of the professorial team of Vijnananilayam, Eluru, A.P. He has to his credit several scholarly works. Presently he is in Barcelona, pursuing a post-doctoral research.
  • Dr. Felix Wilfred has been professor since 1993 at the Department of Christian Studies, University of Madras. He completed his doctoral studies in Rome and has lectured in different Universities in Europe. In 1988 he became the Secretary of the Theological Commission of the Federation of the Asian Bishops' Conference (FABC).
