Arriving by train

Central Station to MWI Institute of Missology Missio e.V. (about 12 minutes by foot).

Go to Aachen Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) and leave the station building. Go immediately to the left, pass by the bike station, go into the Zollamtstraße. Proceed straight ahead (cross the Burtscheider Straße) in the Reumontstraße. You go ahead until the Mozartstraße and turn left here. You pass under a railway bridge and then take the second street on your left: the Goethestraße. Follow this road for about 400m until you reach the sign - „missio – Haupteingang" (main entrance).

Arriving by car

Coming by car from Köln (Cologne), Eindhoven or Heerlen:

Leave the A4 highway at the exit Aachen-Zentrum (Aachen-center). Drive towards Aachen center to the big intersection after the hill (7th traffic light junction after the exit). Turn right onto Ludwigsallee. Keep following this road, that is circular around the city center (changing street names: Pontwall, Turmstraße, Junkerstraße, Schanz) until the Boxgraben. On Boxgraben in the right side is the Luisenkrankenhaus (Luisenhospital). After the hospital, turn right at the 3rd street and you turn right into the Mozartstraße. Pass under a railway bridge and take the second street left. You are in the Goethestraße. Folllow this up for about 400m until you see on the left the "missio Haupteingang" (main entrance).

Arriving by car from Paris, Lüttich (Liège):

Leave the highway E40 at the exit Aachen-Lichtenbusch. Drive towards Aachen until the first big crossing. Turn left onto the Siegelallee. The road goes downhill. At the bottom, keep right and turn right in the second street, named Salierallee. Go straight, pass a traffic light, still straight. Over the Weißhausstraße and the „Im Brockenfeld“ street and the Aachen-Münchener-Allee you reach a rotary traffic. Take the first exit and after some meters you reach missio (on your right).

Pastor Günter Ludwig

"I celebrated my golden anniversary as a priest with a three-day pilgrimage by foot with my former parish and with a High Mass. I look back with gratitude, praying for the MWI fellows and their way with their communities. In favor of a donation for the fellows I renounced to gifts and thereby I want to express the spiritual and material solidarity with the young church in the south."
