Frederic Mvumbi op

Frederic Ntedika Mvumbi o.p., a former scholarship holder and a long-year partner of the Institute of Missiology, is a Dominican Catholic priest from the Democratic Republic of Congo. With a scholarship from the MWI he studied the Arabic language at Dar Comboni, Cairo, Egypt. He obtained his doctorate in Islamic Studies at Ibadan University in Nigeria, with a thesis on interreligious dialogue between Islam and Christianity. He has taught Islamics at the University of Ibadan, the Dominican Institute of Ibadan, the Major Seminary of All Saints, Ephoma, Nigeria, and the Baptist Seminary in Ogbomosho. Presently he is a lecturer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and Tangaza College, both in Nairobi, Kenya, and a visiting lecturer at the Catholic Faculties of Kinshasa (FCK), Congo, and St. Paul's United Theological College (Kenya). Dr. Frederic Ntedika Mvumbi has published several articles on Islam and Christian-Muslim dialogue in academic journals.
