Lament of a victim of the Tsunami    

Theodore Mascarenhas, a former scholarship holder of the Institute of Missiology, was born in 1960, entered the "Society of Pilar" (Goa, India) in 1979, and was ordained priest in 1988. He holds a Ph.D. in Sacred Scripture from the Pontificio Instituto Biblico, Rome, Italy. On March 21st, 2003, he obtained a doctoral degree with his thesis "The Missionary Function of Israel in Psalms 67, 96 and 117". Since then, he also servers as a scientific member of the Pontifical Council for Culture in Rome and, at the same time, as a visiting lecturer at Pilar Theological College, Goa.
