Luiz Carlos Trindade
Today my heart is singing - Psalm from Brazil (June 2007)

Luiz Carlos da Trindade

Today my heart is singing

Luiz Carlos da Trindade, a poet of the street and on the street, totally emerged in homelessness, crime, drugs, alcohol and always on the run. But his poems and psalms made life possible for him - caught as he was in his hope to be constantly human and to be totally part of God's community. The name he gave himself, "Trindade", fully expresses this desire. In 2002 he died in the midst of the homeless community of Salvador, Bahia.
