In the
nineties (1991-2000) the Institute undertook the attempt to enter
actively into a dialogue with the contextual theologies and
philosophies of the South. The Yearbook for Contextual Theologies
founded in 1993 was to be such a pivot. In addition the MWI
initiated a serious of various conferences and research projects.
One could mention the theological inculturation network which
meanwhile can boast five intercontinental congresses, the seminars
of the international
