    The first years of the new millenium present themselves for the MWI as a time of   new challenges, which are connected with developments in Church and society world-wide. These can be seen under the headings: globalization; religiously motivated violence; macro-ecumenicism; missionary region Europe; indigenous theologies; postmodernism; migration flows; inter-religious dialogue.
